MY STORY...

After 14 years in Corporate Retail Recruiting, I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue my passion in photography. I had been feeling a tug for some time to be an entrepreneur, and I always loved photographing family & friends so I bought a camera kit & got started!

I am a self-taught Photographer. I trained myself on my first camera, Canon Rebel T6 by watching YouTube videos, following other Photographers on TikTok/Instagram, and took every free online training I could take. My first 6 months, I solely focused on learning and practicing. My first year, I grew my business with that Canon Rebel T6 camera, by photographing Interior Design projects and my family's portraits. The Rebel T6 was a fabulous beginner camera and I am grateful for it, as I built my business with that camera over a 3 year time span.

In 2022, I upgraded my equipment to a Canon mirrorless camera, and it has been the best purchase ever. I love it! With my family and mentor's encouragement, in 2022, I turned my hobby into business! I got my tax ID, started my booking site, started my gallery site, and now my website. Since then, I have pushed myself to new levels of creativity and learning.

I am grateful for my God given talent that I get to do this every day, and that I get to work with amazing people in my community. My goal is to provide my clients with the most memorable images, and that you will look back on them remembering the feeling you felt that day/that season of life.

MY MISSION

With my professional background, and my patient, caring nature, my mission is to provide the best experience for each of my clients that leaves them confident in choosing me as their Photographer. My goal is to always provide joyful, high quality images with an emotional connection to each photograph.

WHY "JUJU"?

My entire life I've been told I bring so much joy to others, and can light up a room, so when it came time to picking my business name, "Juju" came to mind. When I think of "juju", I only think of good vibes because I love to have fun & be positive all the time!

FUN FACT

I am Spanish, and first generation American. My parents are Colombian so I was raised speaking Spanish my whole life, and still speak it today!! My maiden name is Buendia, which means Good Day in English. :-) So, naturally, my favorite quote is,"It's always a good day to have a Good DAY!"
